Healing Hearts Gatherings 2019
Healing Hearts Gatherings are created specifically for parents during the untimely death of their baby to gather, share their story and connect with other families. Living with the death of your baby can be an emotional and isolating time so our Gatherings are a good place to talk about your experience (if you want), to listen and learn from other parents and to make a connection with other parents. Connecting and being amongst others enduring similar circumstances can make your grief walk feel less lonely.
These Gatherings are held at First Free Rockford (unless noted) located at 2223 North Mulford Road in Rockford. All Gatherings will be held in room 139A. Please use the entrance by the bell tower in the East parking lot and follow the Healing Hearts sign(s) to our location. Kindly RSVP via the Facebook event on the The Haven Network’s Facebook page so plans can be made accordingly. You can also RSVP by simply calling The Haven Network at 815-962-1512. There is a minimum group size of 5.

This walk is for all families who have experienced the death of a child at anytime, either in the recent or distant past, and for caregivers who are involved in the lives and support of these families. This year memorial bricks will be dedicated at the Walk to Remember dedication site on the Sinnissippi Bike Path. If you would like to honor your child by purchasing a brick, please call Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory 815-226-2273.
